CentOS 8 Support
CentOS 8 is now officially supported and CentOS 6 is now no longer supported. If you are still using CentOS 6 then you should upgrade to CentOS 7 or 8 as soon as possible.
Nginx-Rtmp Free Video Server
The largest feature for version 2.9 is the possibility to install the MediaCP with a free video streaming server. It should be noted that features are quite basic, in fact only Live Streaming is possible at the moment.
We did manage to also implement Simulcasting with Facebook, Youtube, Periscope, Twitch and Custom RTMP. Simulcasting with Wowza or Flussonic does currently perform better overall.
