Software Health Check

If you are encountering strange behavior or bugs, running a Software Health Check is a great first step to identify a cause. The Software Health Check provides some simple tests to ensure your server and MediaCP configuration is valid and all services are running optimally.

The Software Health Check is available for Administrators and can be accessed from the side menu under the Administration menu item, you can follow these steps to find and run the Software Health Check:

  1. Select Administration on the side navigation bar
  2. Select Software Health on the dropdown navigation bar

From here you can see a variety of tests and their outcomes. If you see any errors, you can use the following page to interpret them:

These errors can also be searched in the Knowledgebase which may show a guide specific to the error. Otherwise contacting our helpdesk with a description of the issue and the error will allow our team to support you in resolving the issue: https://www.mediacp.net/portal/submitticket.php?step=2&deptid=2
