MediaCP 2.15 is a major upgrade with a focus on upgrading video streaming. Bringing major new features including domain locking, video on-demand, live recording, and enhanced native video streaming support.
For Audio Broadcasters, we’ve also upgraded Liquidsoap to the latest version (2.3) and included support for audio post-processing tools including Stereo Tool and Master_Me.
Introducing MediaCP Video
MediaCP Video is our new comprehensive video streaming engine with Live Streaming, Video on Demand, Relay, and TV Station capabilities, included free with every MediaCP panel. This powerful engine features advanced functionality including referrer validation and automatic recording capabilities. MediaCP Video provides content creators with a complete, built-in streaming solution that’s recommended for all video delivery needs.
MediaCP Video offers the same features and functionality as other video integration with higher stability and no added license cost. When upgrading to 2.15 existing services using Nginx-Rtmp integration will automatically be converted to use MediaCP Video.

MediaCP Video On Demand
MediaCP Video now includes Video on Demand (VOD) support, allowing content providers to upload and manage pre-recorded video libraries alongside their live streaming capabilities. This expansion transforms MediaCP Video into a complete video platform solution for both live and on-demand content delivery.
Improved Video Player & Embed
We’ve upgraded the video player for a smoother and more reliable viewing experience. New settings let you enable auto play, automatic retry, and show a custom offline message when your stream is unavailable. The player now reconnects more effectively if the stream drops, keeping your viewers engaged.
A new embed method (default) now uses a modern javascript approach that integrates more seamlessly with your website. The VOD Player sidebar is hidden by default and replaced with a toggle button for a cleaner, more user-friendly playlist selection.
MediaCP Video Domain Lock
Referrer Validate is now available for MediaCP Video, allowing content providers to their restrict live and on-demand content based on the referring website or domain. This security feature helps prevent unauthorised embedding and hot linking of video content by verifying that requests originate from approved sources. Publishers can now better protect their content and ensure it’s only accessible through their intended platforms and partner sites.
MediaCP Video Live Video Recording
Live Video Recording is now available for MediaCP Video, allowing for the capture and storage live streams automatically during broadcast. This feature enables seamless archival of live events, webinars, and streaming content without manual intervention or third-party recording solutions. Recorded content can then be scheduled on TV Stations or VOD.

Live Stream Target Updates
Stream Targets now show live status updates for Facebook, YouTube, and other social media RTMP destinations without requiring page reloads. Broadcasters can instantly see connection status and streaming health across all their social platforms in real-time.
Master_me & Stereo Tool Integration
Master_me & Stereo Tool integration have been brought to the panel by community request! They allow for automatic and advanced audio mastering and processing, increasing the quality of your broadcasts. Master_me is free and can be configured directly within the panel, with minimal resource usage.

Web Hooks
For customers with Unlimited licenses, web hooks are automated callbacks that send instant HTTP notifications when key events occur. MediaCP 2.15 introduces three powerful webhook types:
- User Webhooks notify when a user is created, updated, logged in, or deleted.
- Server Webhooks inform you when radio or video services are created, updated, or deleted.
- Broadcast Webhooks alert you instantly when a broadcast starts or stops.
These web hooks can power integration and automation with thousands of tools through platforms like integrately or though your own tools.
