MediaCP 2.8.7 Release Notes

MediaCP 2.8.7 is a maintenance release that includes a number of bug fixes.

Icecast KH has been updated to version 15. If you use Icecast services then you should restart your Icecast services within the MediaCP after upgrading.

Full Release Notes

General Maintenance

  • Remove source.schedule API and documentation since the function is no longer available
  • Remove theme selection from “My Account” since there is now only one theme
  • Update Liquidsoap installation scripts to use opam 4.08.1
  • Additional license data collection
  • Change flussonic playlist:// to use localhost rather then a request through nginx
  • Remove source.list_playlists as it is no longer compatible with current autodj implementation
  • Stream Targets should not be displayed for Ondemand Video services
  • Release branches including LTS, Stable and Latest
  • Update FFMPEG to 4.3
  • Upgrade to Icecast KH 15
  • Ports 8082 and 8083 should be skipped by MediaCP allocation due to WSE usage

Software Updates

  • Update to Icecast KH 15
  • Update PHP to 7.3.19
  • Update initial install mysql build
  • Upgrade Redis to version 6.0.5
  • Update nginx worker_rlimit_nofile and connections to support more proxy connections
  • Upgrade ProFTPD to 1.3.6d
  • Update FFMPEG to 4.3

Bug Fixes

  • When deleting service folders, ensure that the path name does not match exactly the conf directory
  • Shoutcast & Icecast config, logs and misc directories should be removed after service is deleted
  • API Service Usage is not working
  • Flussonic & NginxRtmp icons missing from Servers Listing filters
  • app_port should be included in version 2.8.x and MediaService->getHttpsProxyLink should rely on this port
  • Bandwidth missing from some services
  • Advanced Search -> expiry field is broken
  • ShoutcastRTMPApplication setting not honored in HTML Embed Code
  • Transcoder profiles should not be displayed for Ondemand Video services
  • FTP password is not generated if there is no AutoDJ enabled on the service, it should be generated on the File Manager page also
