Streamlock Incompatible With Port 443/80 Proxy

If you have enabled port 80/443 proxy, the 433 port will be used and not allow streamlock to function. You will have designate a different port when setting up streamlock.

You can run this command to confirm which service is using the 443 port:

netstat -tulpn | grep 433

Follow these steps to change your Streamlock port:

     1. Login to Wowza Streaming Engine Manager at http://your-domain:8088/enginemanager/

     2. Click on the Server tab then select Virtual Host Setup

     3. Click on the Edit button under the Virtual Host Setup Basic tab.

     4. Scroll down and select your Streamlock Host Port.

     5. Edit the designated port to any available port, in this example we will use port 8020, then select Apply.

     6. Click the Save button under Host Ports

     7. Restart Wowza Streaming Engine as prompted at the top of the screen

This will now allow you to use Streamlock and the 80/443 Proxy at the same time. Continue to follow the Streamlock Certificate guide to finish setting up Streamlock.
