JWPlayer Software Upgrade

The MediaCP provides the latest stable and tested version of JWPlayer that is available at the time of release. It is possible to upgrade JWPlayer manually with the very latest build by following this guide.

How to manually upgrade JWPlayer to the latest version

  1. Download the latest player files from https://dashboard.jwplayer.com/#/account/downloads
  2. Determine where the MediaCP is installed.
  3. Extract files into [MediaCP]/system/misc/jwplayer6/ and [MediaCP]/system/misc/jwplayer7/
