Statistics and Reporting

The Reporting page provides historical information for the last 2 months of broadcasting. Information is updated nightly and available in several presets for performance reasons. The reporting section enables you to monitor various statistics and connection information.

This feature is available on Video and Audio services.

Reporting Components

This section provides a walkthrough and explanation for the sections of the reporting page for you to better understand and make use of the information provided.

Glossary

  • Reporting Period allows you to monitor statistics from a variety of preset time periods.
  • Unique Connections refers to the individual listener connections including from the same IP address.
  • Peak Connections is the highest number of connections at one time over the period
  • Sessions refers to a period of listening by Unique IP Address
  • Total Minutes and Total Hours refer to the number of minutes or hours collectively listeners by all listeners. For example 2 listeners over 30 minutes would be 1 Total Listener Hour.

Period Overview

A summary of trends over the period including total Unique, Peak & Avg. Connections, Minutes Consumed, Session Lengths and charted Connection and Listener Hours for the period.

Connections

The Connections section offers in-depth look at Connections and Sessions across Countries, User Agents, Streaming Minutes, Time of Day and by Day.

Media

The Media section offers an in-depth look at media played referenced against Connection/Listener numbers and Countries for the time period.

Traffic

The traffic table provides a daily breakdown of data transfer relating to the service over the time period.

Downloads

Several reports are available for downloading providing more detailed information into CSV format:

  • Raw Historics Information – Raw information on all connections as stored in the database with Start Date, End Date, Duration, IP Address, Country, Bytes, Filename, and Referrer (User Agent)
  • Connections Report – Breakdown of Unique Connections, Countries, Total Listening Hours, # Tracks Played,  and Top Country
  • Traffic Report – Daily breakdown of data transfer (bytes) utilized over the time period
  • Media Report – Breakdown of all played tracks over the time period and corresponding Connections, Minutes, Hours, Times Played and Top Listening Country
  • Countries Report – Lists all countries where the station has been played with listener statistics for the period.
  • User Agents Report – Lists all User Agents detected with listener statistics for the period.
