Custom YouTube App

It is possible to use your own YouTube App with the MediaCP Stream Targets feature. There are several reasons why you might use your own app:

Before creating a YouTube App you should review and complete the following points:

To integrate with a custom YouTube App, you must use a MediaCP Unlimited Subscription or Perpetual license.
The MediaCP must be configured with HTTPS access
You will be required to provide a valid link to your Privacy Policy which must include the below information:
- What personal data is collected and why
- How we use your information
- Who we share your data with
- How to request deletion of account data

Open the Google Cloud Console to start creating OAuth 2.0 Client ID
Select Create Credentials → OAuth Client ID
Select Configure consent screen
Select Get Started and configure your app name “Company Name Broadcaster”, support email
Under Audience select External
Set your contact information, and agree to the Google API Services: User Data Policy.
Select Create
Once created select Create OAuth client
Set the Application type to Web application and set the name
Copy the OAuth Redirect URI from System Config → Misc and enter in the Authorized redirect URIs field, then Create.
Copy the Client ID and Client Secret to the related fields in System Config → Misc
Select the Data Access tab on the left
Select Add or remove scope
Paste the required API Scopes into the Manually add scopes field: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube and https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.force-ssl
Select Add to table for each and then Update
